Pros

friendly staff, career opportunities(for some).

Cons

you can progress if you know someone or you are friend of someone. Lots of politics and management looking down at people. Hated working there!

Pros

Office location is good with good transport links Pay is competitive Graduate training in year 1 of the programs is extensive Progression is solid, managers are capable and much freedom is given to succeed on your own. Work life balance is very good, I was never asked to work particularly late or put in weekend hours.

Cons

Very difficult to "get things done" in such a large and cumbersome company Many staff are "coasting" and getting away with it

Pros

Some training was given. My team were lovely. People understood why I wasn't going to stay, there was no hard sell about 'progression' etc etc

Cons

Management are unable to really care about their staff, days constantly being filled with menial tasks and reports leaving no time for staff engagement. Doing free overtime is seen as a given.
