Pros

Lots of experience learning what can go wrong with the parts you support. Second sense for what questions to ask and how to debug from a distance.

Cons

Not the most enriching to the soul. And the building has white noise piped in. It's pretty distracting which is ironic because they put it in to avoid distractions.

Pros

Hybrid work is often available, while lab work is usually necessary on a regular basis. ESPP, company match up to 4% of 401(k), and fully insured dental/vision/health

Cons

Only one medical plan, HPHD, and it has poor coverage. Understaffed and inexperienced.

Pros

You can work on good stuff

Cons

No appreciation or value to your work. Bad marketing and sales team will try to ride on Engineering teams
