Pros

Laid back, flexible schedule. It is a decent place to work.

Cons

Heirarchial, things take very long. It can be frustrating if you are not in Dallas, but in a satellite site.

Pros

Profit sharing and ESPP program most of the managers are great to work for.

Cons

very political and gives no importance to the amount of effort and results. Seniority is a big thing, and does not encourage new hires in this regards. The TECH Staff program is all political and not based on actual accomplishments, it's mind blowing to see the people they pass up and the people they promote, they give an extraordinary amount of leverage to minorities in TECH staff, raises, hiring etc. which is great if your a minority otherwise be prepared to get passed over (read between the lines).

Pros

TI is a great place to work. I have learned quite a bit from the technical folks and leaders that I have worked with at TI. The corporate culture and fact that leaders truly do care about thier people makes it a refreshing place to work.

Cons

I can't really think of any, at least none that you wouldn't encounter at any company that you worked. In my opinion, most people at TI are friendly, caring and competent. But with any large group of people, you are bound to find a few bad apples that will leave negative impressions on folks.
