Pros

Open to working from home, flexible work schedules

Cons

Don't expect recognition or rewards for accomplishments, promotions are not performance or merit based. Management is generally not in touch with who is really contributing to success and when they are, they cannot compensate those people financially. TI gives lip service to ethics and retaliates against those who point out ethical issues. With few exceptions the company is very reactive to the market and/or has badly miscalculated on key industry trends (i.e., cell phone market after about 2004)

Pros

Fantastic benefits (401k matching, company gym, medical coverage), many diversity initiatives going on and the people you work with are like family - the ones you like.

Cons

The pace can be frantic.
