Pros

Some innovative and motivated employees who are dedicated to making TI an industry leader. The information sharing among peers is great and encourages out of the box thinking.

Cons

Many "freeloaders" who surf the internet all day. Management does a poor job at improving their performance and/or "weeding" them out.

Pros

Texas instruments has a generally has a good reputation within industry as a whole. Bur within the microelectronics industry I know more individuals who used to work for TI than currently work at TI. There is a reason for that.

Cons

TI has a ex military mindset that sometimes does not translated well in the outside world( from the armed services.. People here are more concerned about there careers that the advancement of the firm. In my fab and module communication is inconsistentand often nonexistent. People are in charge here that really don't know how thesystems really work.
