Pros

Large company Very dynamic and diverse Well connected Strong history Healthy Culture To summarize, if you look at TI's history it should be very easy to see the kind of company it is. There is nothing hidden from you and the goals of the company are clear from the minute you walk in.

Cons

It is an older company and at times still clings to older concepts as well as large corporate mentality. It has less of the conveniences that newer tech companies have.

Pros

TI practices diversity in hiring and opportunity in ethnic background and gender. There was diminishment in the quality of work - in fact, having a mixed environment of ladies and gentlemen from all over the world removed some of the "Old Boy network" that I've seen in other companies.

Cons

TI runs on a tight budget. As a semi-conductor leader, they need to invest upwards of a hundred million dollars for a product line, so they aren't afraid to spend money. Teams however will need to justify any expenditures very thoroughly, and those expenditures must be focused to making a profit.
