Pros

Depending on your job type you can do your work well and rewarded.

Cons

If you are in a management or strategic position, the politics are counter productive. The buzz word accountability has become to mean that "stuff" rolls down hill. Very few people at the GM level or above will openly take responsibility.

Pros

- Easy to ask questions of anyone within the organization at all levels - Respect intern opinions - Challenging, real assignments as opposed to grunt work

Cons

- Can sometimes be stuck in the old way of doing things and resistant to change - Can be difficult to get up to speed with how quickly things change - Not a lot of central knowledge sharing - can contribute to reinventing the wheel in a lot of ways
