Pros

Texas Instruments is a good place to start a career in terms of intial experience. Alot of very knowledgable engineers to learn from.

Cons

Recent changes at TI have disenfrachised alot of the senior engineering staff. While in the past I would have easily recommended friends to join the team, with the current direction I now would hesitate to make such a recommendation.

Pros

T.I. acronym is known to stand for Training Institute. It's a great place to learn technical knowledge in many different areas of electrical design and integrated circuit manufacturing.

Cons

First level managers have horrible people skills. Most are former engineers with no understanding of human nature, social skills, or any type of personnel management training.
