Pros

TI was a great company to work for. Its pay and bonus were based on your performance, nothing else. Top performers were well rewarded.

Cons

Most of the management was not technically oriented. So it was not innovative eccentric. It was purely sales driven. In long run, it could hurt its competitiveness in the market.

Pros

TI has very good IT, CAD, PDK support and computer system. Good simulation tools and softwares.

Cons

Too much bureaucracy. A lot of things need to be done to satisfy the management. All these takes time and energy away from engineer, which otherwise could be better spent on the actual technical work. Too many unnecessary meetings, politics and fault finding creates an unhappy environment to work in. Not the best place to work in for individuals who really want to shine.
