Pros

There is opportunity for travel and you can easily see how your work impacts the bottom line. It is a sales/revenue focused company.

Cons

It is a sales/revenue focused company through and through. Almost all of upper management is from sales and they won't spare much in the way of "nice to haves" for employees. This is no Google; everything centers around increasing profit/revenue. Everything.

Pros

High performers get paid big bucks. Technology is top notch.

Cons

Managment makes poor business decisions and the end result is management remains in place but engineers get laid off. Groups work in silos here with little sharing or cooperation. Can get pigeon holed doing certain designs or tasks.
