Pros

I have heard that TI stood from tiny income, but I didn't find that to be the case. Admittedly with such a large company there are jobs that have no future and room for growth, but once you work at TI you can move to other jobs. Conversely there are jobs at TI that are rewarded substantially in base income, bonuses, and other benefits. If you are able to get into one of the high revenue group and are successful, compensation is very good.

Cons

Electrical design engineering is the central task at TI and if you aren't in design, analog circuit design in particular, it's more difficult to get recognized in the technical community.

Pros

the opportunities provided in terms of technical work are good and you get to learn a lot from the work. Work life balance is really good, it values the importance of sports in life.

Cons

Salary provided by Texas instruments is not as good as Qualcomm and Intel. Some people have a very hectic timeline and don't get time for themselves.
