Pros

Lots of horizontal mobility, top end labs and equipment, very knowledgeable team

Cons

Slow moving company, sales oriented, not research intensive. The cubicles on south campus are a depressing environment to work in unless you are by a window.

Pros

Rewards performance, provides large latitude in decision making, allows differences of opinions. Appreciation of the fact that we work in an ambiguous market environment, so it is not possible to play by a standard set of rules.

Cons

Very tactical day-today management by senior management, high pressure work environment, low tolerance for people seeking "9-5" job.

Pros

great work culture and work environment. Great coworkers but sometimes the supervisors are not very friendly.

Cons

The problem is that layoffs occurs quite frequently. And if you're not lucky, you'll be out of job.

TI made several strategic decisions in the last 6~7 years, it is no longer interested in developing the leading edge semiconductor manufacturing technologies and it is no longer a major player in the mobile processor market.

Pros

stable work environment, generally lots of freedom to explore and do more than required of the job

Cons

vertical growth limited in India specifically due to the nature of the business in India. This could though change in the future as the site grows in significance both in the region and globally.
