Great opportunity for entry level graphic designers but no advancement!

Pros

You can learn a lot of customer service skills as well as advance your graphic design skills, there is a very diverse work load, something new everyday, great for those who don't like the same old tasks every day, delivery drivers are so nice, most customers become loyal like family.

Cons

Franchise owners have limited funds making it hard to properly run the store, untrained and poor management, low pay, limited hours, no benefits, no advancement, often not appreciated for your efforts.

Relationships with co-workers and a few friendly customers. Pay rate.

Cons

Everything. Owners berate their employees in front of customers and coworkers. Lack of decent training. They rip customers off and pick fights.

Pros

Most stores are closed on Sunday, the hours are flexible, significant amount of down time at some locations. You get to know your repeat clients very well and it's rewarding helping them with a big project whether shipping something fragile or a copy job.

Cons

Pay is not equivalent to what you're responsible for day to day, there's A LOT to learn and you don't make nearly enough. It's a franchise so the owner doesn't have to offer you any benefits. I never had a paid holiday or any paid time off.
