Make Sure Its Turner, Not Turner SPO

“Big Turner” is fine. They run jobs well enough, their people are competent. Turner SPO however… a totally different story. Turner Self Perform Operations was a joke during the time I worked there. No safety standards, no safety practices really enforced. Non-union company, which uses a prison work release program to justify low wages and ZERO career advancement. Even after meeting with HR and getting promises from management- a year passed, and literally nothing changed or improved. When I gave them my 2 weeks, the shop boss told me, “I don’t need you anyway”. Never missed a day, never late, went above and beyond the whole time. Apply elsewhere.

The Turner Self Perform Operations division is a waste of time for anyone looking for a career in the construction industry.
