      Pros

      Massive corporation with great projects. Its a really nice company with good pay at the beginning and late career individuals.

      Cons

      You will need to climb the social ladder to gain any sort of recognition. No one will really show you how anything gets done. if you do your job right they'll just leave you alone and forget about you. which is fine if you're a mid level employee but as a entry level i wanted opportunities to work gain experience and move up which i wasn't getting. got placed on night shift and was wasting away. they dont care.

      Company culture is a major priority, with a major emphasis on diversity, respect, and an inclusive work environment. There is a lot of opportunity for lateral and upward mobility, and competitive pay within the construction industry. In 5 years I have worked in 3 very different roles that have expanded my knowledge, interest, and professional development. Strong job security as a result of company prioritization of longevity for employees. Great health and financial planning benefits. The CEO is incredible involved and committed to company values, and that is felt throughout the company at all business units.

      Cons

      Similar to all General Contractors, the work itself can be stressful during different phases of the construction process, so the industry is not for everyone. Sometimes, the quality of your experience can be heavily influenced by the quality of your manager/supervisor.
