      UBS was a 5.5 month death march

      Pros

      Excellent compensation, clean, well lit, well kept working environment, decent hardware, access to software, support, Good medical insurance / benefits package.

      Cons

      very top down management, ridiculously long working hours, project mismanagement, no respect for work/life balance. No interest in building quality software, treating developers poorly (lying to them, not listening to them when they bring up issues)

      Ok on the business side but bad in the corporate center

      Pros

      Depending on which area you work in its a good bank to work for. Corporate center is not treated good at all in pay or in bonuses. Advice is do not join the corporate center.

      Cons

      Corporate center is demotivated from doing their best, very large turnover, creates a large operational risk. Everything was pushed out to corporate center IT, Risk, Operations.
