Pros

the best reasons to work for the Army are personal growth, the opportunity for leadership experience, the opportunity to serve your country, and the chance to meet people from all walks of life.

Cons

like other government organizations, working in the U.S. Army can at times make one feel like a small cog in a large machine. For the first 10 years, assignments and salary are based off years of service rather than performance.
