Pros

you get to travel, the army has great benefits and a chance to complete your edecuations. Meeting a great diverse of people.

Cons

deployement are hard and you are under strict guidelines , wearing uniforms everyday, Getting up early, on call all of the time.

Pros

The opportunities are greater in the reserves rather then the active side since you have a chance to have multiple MOS's.

Cons

You have to deal people who may not want to be there or are just lazy.

Great health plan Great retirement plan "30" days vacation every year "unlimited" sick time Salary decent for required education Get to shoot stuff

Cons

Long hours Difficult promotion system Micromanagement Little control over assignments Policy is interpreted many different ways Vacation time includes weekends To get a sick day you must be at work at 6am to see a medic You don't get to shoot all the time, but are always expected to be able to qualify
