Pros

Employees can do what they please if they keep their immediate bosses and the management happy. Can spend a career in UST Global without any significant work, but still be paid

Cons

The leaders of the company are a bunch of folks who has no management experience in a company of this size. All of them were with the company from the time it was a 10 member company and still behaves like that. A lot of politics and virtually zero career growth and with the new band system they have introduced you would find yourself going down a band based on what the company feels. The company treats onsite people who has come from India as someone who needs to work for the maximum period in his visa and then expect to return to India. Processing of green cards are done only if you have a godfather in the management. In my case i worked onsite as a PM for more than 6 years and when it was the time for the green card the company refused to process stating some policy. With my complete stay in the US exhausted the company forced me to return to India. Recently the company had massive layoffs both in India and the US due to loss of some major clients.

Pros

Pay OK if negotiated at the time of joining.

Cons

Not a great company to work long term. Too much focus only to Malayalam community. Mid level management plays double games and politics than more focused on bringing solutions on the table. Management is not Trustworthy. No growth for employees to stick around Longer.
