Pros

Smart people, challenging work. Real effort to improve as a company. You can feel it, you can see it...

Cons

Transitioning from a startup to an IPO right now. Changes might not be for everyone, but if you're up for a challenge, this is not a con at all

Pros

- People are genuinely good, smart and passionate about the company and changing the world (when I meet up with folks who left, they always speak about how they miss the company and teams, they see it as a badge of honor to have worked there) - You have lots of impact on what you do. You get to build! - Lots of changes happening especially after 2017. The company is making important strides to be better for employees, driver partners and riders. Final note - - Uber employees are some of the most passionate and resilient people in the world, especially after a very tough 2017. Things are definitely in place for the company to be the best place to work at. Excited for its future.

Cons

- Leaders can be young and inexperienced. - Sometimes things are done too hastily (e.g., selling off business operations in other regions) with little planning considerations for impacts to employees.

Amazing Opportunity

Pros

Opportunities for growth, able to make a big impact. Company really cares about getting better.

Cons

Company grew too fast, and couldn't keep up. Many of the policies you would expect for a company of this size simply don't exist. Leadership is trying to play catch up, but it's hard.
