      Pros

      - Benefits: Health insurance and 401k start on day 1, yearly bonuses. - Competitive pay. - Company continues to grow. Great to have stability with all the layoffs you hear about. - Employee recognition and engagement. You feel valued as an employee.

      Cons

      Strict dress code, but that's okay!

      Grass is Greener at Uline!

      Pros

      Stability! So many getting laid off at other jobs but not at Uline. We are a stable family owned company that is growing! You simply won’t find better co-workers anywhere! This is a high performance environment, meaning the people you work with give their best alongside you. Coworkers are family. We do work and life together. Hardly any messes to clean up from other employees who dropped the ball. Customers aren’t yelling when you answer the phone because we treat them well and even if a mistake is made, it is remedied quickly and without hassle. The compensation is generous with an annual profit sharing bonus after three years and annual performance bonus starting the first year. There are opportunities to grow if you are willing to be flexible and learn new things.

      Cons

      It is challenging to get hired because we are not only looking for people that can do the job but are also like-minded and interested in achieving their best every day. The process is intensive but worth it seeing the quality of people we get to work with every day. Uline’s obsession with the customer experience and continuous improvement means that some may be uncomfortable receiving feedback to get better. Uline doesn’t stop when a goal is reached, we keep striving for better. People who don’t have a continuous improvement mentality will feel micromanaged. The focus on getting better all the time is how Uline achieves such a positive reputation in the industry- because the customers get what they want, when they want it and it’s done right the first time.

      Pros

      Don’t know how to type or what google chrome is? No problem! Easy tasks with minimal decision making, good bonuses after 4 years, decent starting pay(within industry), elementary school style 3 month training provided.

      Cons

      Cult like management structure, inconsistent standards for employees, unclear guidelines for promotion, heavy control of employee personal lives. ProTip: Talking to an employment lawyer is more helpful than HR.
