Pros

Nice facility Hefty year end bonus

Cons

The employees are at Uline are either 1) drinking the Uline kool-aid and love it Or 2) bored with the work, and hate everything about it When you’re interviewing or first hired at Uline, HR will say something like “the bad reviews on Glassdoor are just extremely disgruntled former employees and you shouldn’t listen to it.” But what people write is true. Dress code, clocking in and out, micro-managed sooo much, etc. I worked there for about 20 months and I think it was a fine job. But at the end of the day, this company isn’t good long-term for fresh grads or anyone else. Hope this helps whoever is out there!

Pros

- Competitive pay. - Good Bonuses (Profit Sharing). - Great amenities (Gym, Cafe, Clean/beautiful buildings).

Cons

- Definition of a micromanaging company. Must send your Top 3 to-do's to manager every morning like we are in high school. - Small decision has to go through committee and/or get the President's approval. - Expect you to do long hours (High 40s to 50hrs per week is the norm). Poor work-life balance. No opportunities to work from home at all. - Strict Company. 1950's dress code (Ladies, bring out your pantyhose cause it's required 6 months of the year). Desk must follow strict guidelines (Seriously, you can only have 5 "personal" items at your desk. And yes... they do a walk through to make sure you comply). - If you don't fit within the "Uline" culture, you won't last.

Pros

The attention to detail at Uline is second to none. The training is very involved and comprehensive. They do everything in their power to ensure your success as a sales representative as well. You will never be left to question what your responsibilities or metrics are. They are very rigid and clear cut.

Cons

They audit everything that you do, you will be watched at every turn. They expect you to put Uline first before everything, and the work-life balance can seem non-existent at time. Hours are 7:30 - 5 but many people work even later.
