Pros

Great benefits and competitive pay, several areas of growth in the business especially for dev hardware/software groups.

Cons

Company culture changed in the last 5 or so years. They seem to be more concerned about "the bottom line" with no employee appreciation or attempts at keeping those that contribute to the company, which will hurt them in a the long-run as more seasoned employees move to greener pastures and are replaced with less-skilled, less loyal temp/contractors. The most recent reorganization and layoff seems to have been the largest negative impact to employee morale in at least a decade (and we've weathered many re-orgs over the years).

Pros

Became familiar with WAN/LAN troubleshooting, Cisco/Juniper and other technologies. ITIL practitioner, they develop there on state-of the art monitoring tools.

Cons

2 hours drive,if someone left/resigned the company they won't replace the engineer causing lack of manpower
