Pros

Pay is decent, and that's about it. Fairly flexible to get time off quickly.

Cons

Managers have extremely stressful and unrealistic goals and objectives. Long hours also and being constantly tied to the phone make the situation worse. No department has matching objectives so it is impossible to get anything done. Everyone washes hands of issues. Senior management while claim to be working on bureaucracy only make things worse and keep piling work on with no end in site.

Pros

For me - my work location, my manager and colleagues. We really work as a team and rely on each other. I work hard and my manager and director appreciate my efforts.

Cons

I feel Verizon has lost focus on the customer. With outsourcing jobs and laying off US employees to make the company lean and streamlined, they are not seeing what it is doing to our image as a first class telecommunications company.

Pros

1. Good paying jobs are hard to find if you have no college background. 2. Health benefits are desirable, even mediocre ones are better than none.

Cons

As senior employees retire, those left behind are expected to take on the additional work caused by the vacancies. They are not hiring replacements!
