Pros

Working in the mall and girls. The hours are flexible, so it gives me time to pursue my other passions, including completing my schooling. In my particular case, I'm still enrolled in a local junior college, and I have high hopes that some day, I will earn enough credits and good grades, that will allow me to propel myself to the next level - either a state college or university - hooray. Whether I will want to stay in the cellular/communications industry, that has yet to be seen.

Cons

Working in the mall, not sure how much room there is for growth. How much transferable job skills am I really gaining when I'm selling cellphone plans to random strangers trolling through the mall?... It makes me wonder about my long-term career prospects.

Pros

I feel the pay is above average for area, and benefits are great.

Cons

Lack of support and communication from HR. Hard to get days off in emergency situations. Trainings are not always provided in a timely fashion. A lot of us feel like we are in dead end jobs and will be stuck on the phones the rest of our careers if we stay here.

Pros

The job is very stable. Decent compensation. Financially solid.

Cons

Upper management is disconnected with the employees. Much of the strategic decision making is hard to rationalize logically. Not an environment that supports and fosters innovation. Employee morale is pretty low, which is surprising in fact that comp and benefits are very competitive. The old 'Bell' mentality is still deeply rooted in the company culture. Basically you work because it pays the bills and the job market is not very good. If you are technical, forget about career opportunities.
