Pros

health care from day 1. time off. phone bill discount. 401k plan. benefits plan.

Cons

This job put me into therapy and onto 7 different antidepressants and antianxiety drugs. Management bullies you, and harrasses you constantly. You are verbally abused from customers and management will not do anything for you. They will text you at home about work, and they will text you up to 20 times a day. They do not let you have any personal item on your desk--no photos or anything, because they say it is too distracting. I felt less than human when i worked there. i got physically sick before i walked into that building, that's how much anxiety i got before i would get on with my day, which consisted of getting screamed at for things that werent my fault, and couldn't fix, and then getting yelled at by my manager for not selling that angry customer an overpriced phone case or bluetooth headset.

Pros

Stable company, great benefits, cool product

Cons

Those that succeed are those that are willing to lie cheat and steal. If you are honest and ethical, you will not reach the unattainable sales goals. Literally was told flat out to lie to sell exactly what we were supposed to. Quote from manager "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.....or a sale"

Pros

Good compensation for top sales performers, good benefits, overtime available for those who want it(unless you are in mgmnt)

Cons

Zero work life balance, although they preach that it is a "core value" and part of their "credo" there is really no balance in retail. Lots of overtime hours without compensation(salary plus) for mgmnt. Zero travel time during the holiday season to see your family. Intense micro managing from senior leadership. Zero recognition from senior leadership. They pick you apart and tear you down in person, but then they preach about recognition on the conference calls. Very difficult to hold people accountable without a detailed and documented timeline of events.
