Pros

Most front line folks are great and some of the Sr Managers.

Cons

Management, especially senior management (Directors and above), is for the most part inept and incompetent. They all seem to be "Yes" men and women and question any divergence from their way. I had one VP complain when I told the customer the truth. He wanted me to lie or at least whitewash a technical problem to a customer he invited me to as a technical SME. Sorry but I won't jeopardize my integrity. You would expect the same from a West Point Grad but I guess not. Management gives you unrealistic goals and they have no consequences in missing their targets. It is a constant uphill battle all year long with 1 or 2 readjustments to the goals but they are never realistic and the team never gets a win. I have seen the company slowly move into this destructive culture over the last 8 years. They keep getting rid of people and expect everyone to do more. They are trying to reallocate the cost bases for front line workers by hiring younger employees and getting rid of the higher paid employees. Also, they expect 40 hour contract employees to work over 40 hours and not put it on their time sheet. The 40 hour contract position is all a wink and a nudge. They will load you up and if you question it then they won't bring you on full time or let you go.
