Very Political. Technical staff are controlled by non-technical managers with little understanding of the work. Promotions are based on relationships and internal factions rather than merit. Despite consistently meeting KPIs and carrying the bulk of the workload, technical teams are the first to be cut , while some leads and high-level directors, who contribute little and often fail to deliver, remain untouched.
