Lots of great people to work with.

Cons

Too much secrecy in that company. Managers don't know how to give positive feedback to their employees. They are always looking out for their own benefit and would throw you under the bus to cover their own back. It's not the company it used to be.

Pros

US Advisory Services has a great group of brilliant thought-leaders in transportation. Young professionals are able to work directly with some of the best and brightest in the field.

Cons

There is no set path for advancement for young professionals. Promotions are not performance-based. Associates are overworked, underpaid, and do not have any of the major benefits provided by other consultancies (bonuses, phone stipends, etc.). Management is too focused on cutting costs, and would rather hire someone in from the outside at much higher rates than grow high-preforming staff from within.

Pros

Great company vibe and sense of vision / purpose regarding sustainability, innovative designs and great outcomes for clients.

Cons

Work could be fever-pitch to meet deadlines and after acquisition by WSP (formerly the business was Lincolne Scott) somewhat lost focus. Still a great business though and would recommend.
