      Pros

      A lot of great people, great work, many different locations to choose from especially now that they are owned by WSP. Flexible PTO.

      Cons

      Slow to act on employee requests, have had to work under some funky supervisors

      Pros

      Career path for those in technical roles are great. Flexible working. Great location. Lots of social events that you can attend.

      Cons

      Internal communication is poor. Engineers are the most boring people you will ever meet. You can walk into any floor sit at a desk and nobody will ever speak to you. It doesn't matter if you sit at the same desk for a month, no one will ever attempt to speak to you. If you're not in their team you're a ghost.

      The (public) parent company trap

      Pros

      Started with small company environment & culture with the GRB side. Excellent work culture and people. The company in general valued its employees.

      Cons

      When GRB was combined with Tundra into one building, the culture morphed and it became a popularity contest. Tundra had more employees to begin with so they influenced who was to be ousted. It became a bit "cut-throat" and "survival of the fittest" kind of work culture unfortunately. To make matters worse, the parent company bought Focus so off course there were too much overlap. Then to top it off the sharp drop in oil/gas commodity price.
