Pros

Been to other offices and they are far better than the Cambridge one.

Cons

Poor management. Past lab supervisor didn't know how to do any of the tests properly and was harassing numerous coworkers. Management was informed of this behaviour and nothing was done. Same lab super was caught multiple times altering reports in order for tests to have passed (concrete, soil, etc.), management was informed of this and nothing was done. I was told numerous times that they would fire the super but they're "too cheap and not willing to pay severance." Poor pay. Long hours. Techs must use own vehicle. Do not work in this office.

Pros

+ Flexible Working + Limited, but some exposure to interesting projects

Cons

- No line management, complete lack of support and no visibility of career progression - Junior members of staff left alone and not given interesting work (expected to cover basic administration, document control etc, rarely trusted on engineering projects) - No responsibility or trust to complete work

Pros

none as the vp said "we are lucky we have a job". poor culture down hill, toxic work environment, evil company. service industry prepares you for other "jobs" mcdonalds and burger king service sector.

Cons

management is clueless, poor direction, poor to no guidance, high expectation and accountability with poor to no training. poor compensation, no reward for high achievers and good workers. unethical behavior, labeled as a professional engineering firm but is not. wsp thinks the solution to their problems is to throw enough people at it with zero training fresh off the street employees. i thought engineering was a collaborate and team working environment it is not at wsp. communication is poor no one is kept in the loop working as individual silos.
