management top heavy. the merge of different companies are painful. a lot of useless people prior to the recession. bad culture.

Cool people to work, some really interesting projects.

Cons

As others have noted that lots of senior staff has left..so if you are young and starting out, you are left in deep .water from time to time. Lots of pressure to meet deadlines

Pros

I was part of the building science team. Energetic and driven young group; many smart engineers; CEO was from the former MMM and seemed approachable and wise.

Cons

Still a strong culture of legacy company at the Yonge/Eglinton office; company is constantly acquiring so constant change but very poor communication from leadership about decisions - they communicate matters after they happen so you don't feel part of the company; boys club and have hard time listening to women; no diversity in the office makes for an ignorant group who does not welcome those who don't fit a mold; aggressive and arrogant engineering mentality; i'm pretty sure i wasn't paid accurately; benefits were standard nothing special. too many men at the top.
