Pros

Experience you get and the retail knowledge you obtain.

Cons

Managers at the time were very shady. It's been awhile since I was there but the managers were very biased. On more than one occasion I witnessed managers writing people up strategically so they could not transfer somewhere else.

Pros

Flexible, friendly management. Will work with you if you have life going on. Great hours, great pay. Always a manager around to answer a question.

Cons

Some managers take their job too seriously, was told one day I wasn't allowed to leave, even though it was after my shift and I was going to clock out, until I finished another department's pallet, which had 4 people still working in it at the moment. Favoritism is a plague at my store. The store manager is a very abrasive person, he does the job, just could use some lightening? I'm not sure of the word. The "Employee Discount" is hardly worth anything. Only got like.. 10cents off some cookies, and that went away with Christmas.
