Pros

The pay is comparative to a cashier or electronics associate; that is to say, slightly better than regular sales floor associate. It's fast-paced work and for the most part you don't have to deal with customers as often.

Cons

Walmart loves to cross-train its people. Expect to do at least two jobs at once and expect management to expect YOU to get everything done in a timely manner. Upper management hardly acknowledges the existence of hourly associates. You deal almost exclusively with your hourly supervisor, support management, or assistant managers--who tend to be just as hassled as you are by the people above them. It often feels like a 'spouse yells at other spouse, other spouse yells at kid, kid kicks the dog' sort of dynamic.
