Pros

they look for young, fresh meat straight out of high school, or really old ladies that are in retirement. They want to seem "diverse' so if you're smarter or over qualified, don't expect much

Cons

besides the fact that it was wal-mart. they make up for the losses by firing employees who are falsely accused and keeping the ones who actually steal. not sure why they do this but I lost my one chance for promotion by being accused of stealing while someone else, who was not being promoted, got to keep her job at her current pay because she threw me under the bus and didn't have chance of moving up and getting paid more anyway,

Pros

Good Pay($12/hr), 40 hrs a week, Do what you want, put it on resume.

Cons

Very unorganized. No leadership to follow, basically had to learn everything by myself. The schedule was horrible, changing weekly, including many weekends and 2 times I had to work overnight. Nothing made sense and it was a waste of time for both me and Wal-Mart.
