Pros

Being a member of the family at Wal-Mart, you learn to rely on others for help. You will learn different departments and how they are run. And how to keep check on inventory.

Cons

Sometimes the customers get carried away with how mych they can treat an employee, but thats pretty much all the downside to being a member at Wal-Mart.

Pros

Hours are not to bad if you are a full time employee if not then you can also ask or hours and probably will get them. You have a opportunity to ask for training in other areas of the store so you have more experience for new jobs that come up. They hire from within generally so its easy to advance in most cases.

Cons

The pay is not to bad but if you are looking for better pay this is not the place for you. They do not accept doctors slips when you are ill. Three days is all the leave you have if you are sick unless you qualify for medical leave.
