Pros

1. No micromanagement 2. Flexible work hours 3. Cab facility 4. Good cafeteria

Cons

1. No growth 2. Too much process and approvals if you want to change internally. 3. Mindless and illogical management tricks played during 2019-2021 to downsize QA roles. Paid less than 1℅ hike. Making advance development course mandatory to switch to dev roles?! I mean who even thought about such schemes to ruin careers. I underwent pressure to fulfill stringent timelines and technical upskilling unrelated to QA line of work. Nevertheless cleared it as I took up the challenge, as they clearly tired to underestimate QA engineers with these tactics. Even a experienced 10 year plus software engineers hasn't heard of some of the courses they included for us, which they expected us to learn in 3months time. Lost the little admiration left for the company. 4. Manager has absolutely no control over the direction of the projects and team members goals and ambition. Simply a dummy of higher management, who are just pocketing hefty salaries.

Pros

Great benefits , maternal and paternal paid leave, 3 weeks of PTO for full time employees at start. (not including compensation). Life and work balance is great! Branches everywhere.

Cons

Branch Managers are too young and unqualified to make savvy business decisions that affect staff directly on a daily basis. Turnover is the worst I’ve ever seen because of the leaders they are promoting. Wells Fargo is limiting staff to a ridiculously low number. The customer’s perspective is that branch management is at fault for not staffing properly. The reality is that branch management has no control of staffing because at a national level they are cutting costs and relying on digital services to serve customers needs. Unfortunately some communities are at disadvantage because of lack of knowledge of how to use basic online services or never had any contact with computers or contact screens. These communities have trouble using ATMs because they don’t trust the technology and will wait standing in a teller line for 1 hour to get their account balance. Every single day you will be cursed out, yelled at l, be called racist because in the eyes of the community they think we don't want to have more tellers because we don't care about the community. Wells Fargo executives are out of touch with the communities they serve and should adjust for certain communities. In some affluent sectors online services and phone bank is enough. But for other communities its DEFINITELY NOT. The abuse branch management and team members are subjected to is worthy of causing PTSD.

Pros

There are no pros in this company. Pros are being able to talking about your leads and managers to each other because we all feel the same way!

Cons

Poor management. You join to fend for yourself. Lead gets mad when you ask questions or for help. They expect you know and remember a million things SPOT ON from day 1 of training. if you don't, you will get lectured and yelled at. Managers are unorganized and cannot keep up with their people and the one million responsibilities. So much work /responsibilities you, yourself cannot keep up! There's never nothing to do! And they wonder why risk is so high! More and more responsibilities are added every week/month! It's drowning, draining and stressful. So much work you can't even help out your peers. Managers say, they know they know and there's nothing they can do. Pay is not worth the job at all. They are sexist. All male workers in this department gets paid +$10k more and do less work. Had to see a therapist due to this job. Can't leave because I got bills! Crying inside everyday. Yes I'm looking for a new opportunities!
