      Pros

      They occasionally pay you some of your salary and benefits. They pay you the rest of your salary and benefits if you realise and can prove to them that they've made a mistake...again!

      Cons

      HR in the UK is an absolute joke. Middle managers promise opportunity but never deliver. You do not get paid regularly with the correct amounts. They make many many mistakes and are very slow to correct. Most mistakes will involve HR!!! Not responding to email and requests is part of the Wipro culture. They will ignore anything that will not benefit the company directly and be very slow at paying their bills if at all. Stay well clear as a customer or employee. Staff are very demotivated. Even the rare good ones are not incentivised to provide a good service to clients.

      Fresh and exciting proposition

      Pros

      The goals of the company are exciting and its work ethic brilliant. The hierarchy is very flat and people are allowed the space to figure out how best to contribute and what career direction to take. There is time away from client work allowed for side projects and the kit is top notch (MacBook Pro and big Apple monitor). And the company is selective in terms of what work to accept and doesn't just take anything to pull the money in. There are many people here that I can learn a great deal from and I feel challenged but trusted. Great place to work and grow.

      Cons

      If you like a well groomed backlog and knowing ahead what you'll be working on in a few months, this is not the place for you - there is uncertainty inherent in all the projects, especially in the beginning. Days of leave offered could be better.

      If you are someone they need at a client's site, and you can do something no one else can do, you are generally left alone except…

      Cons

      …for the endless emphasis on closing tickets (even if the problem isn't solved), the impossible to navigate employee portal, the mandatory testing that takes days (not hours) to complete and that you are always hounded about, the fact that your manager and you may never meet/speak/IM or email yet this person is responsible for your review and that all of this is just the tip of the frustration iceberg.
