Pros
- At that time Wizeline was a great place to work, we used to take care of our culture because we loved to see everyone on the same page (always there to help others, friendly, professional, etc.). Perks were great at that time as well, some good monetary compensations. Company-wise events were great, we used to have an amazing time getting all together, we had some epic times there. - Facilities are great, nice quality stuff, coffee, snacks, gym is included which is awesome, among other stuff :D - We used to have great professional challenges, leading teams, discovering new technologies, lost of learning for me :D - Nice support from leadership.
Cons
- In order to climb in the levels career ladder you needed to get involved into tons of activities outside your regular day-to-day project activities, meaning, giving conferences to internal and external audience, interviewing people as part of the hiring process, be part of company-wise activities, etc. Not that is bad, it just takes a lot of your time that some people just don't have. - Salaries were not the best at that time, that's one of the reasons some people were leaving, me included (not entirely the reason, but part of it). - When I left the culture was not the same anymore (understandable because as companies grow, this things happen, priorities change).
