      Talented people but terrible management

      Pros

      - talented, smart people to work with - company has a good reputation in the energy sector

      Cons

      - management takes decisions without consulting employees. If you hire smart people, you should know that they will also be able to give good insight in what would be good for their team. Restructuring and changing teams every year is NOT good for morale and the results have been very poor - lots of people leave - too many processes, too many managers, too many old timers - main thing is that high managers say a lot of corporate stuff that doesn't mean anything and don't realise how much frustration there is in the company

      Great working people - poor HR, poor leadership

      Pros

      Small individual teams were great. The people you work with day-to-day are great to work with, and work very hard to push things through. Plenty of things to pick up and learn when first starting out.

      Cons

      Poor compensation - salary increases and compensation are not competitive in the tech space. Leadership has trouble prioritizing projects. Planning meetings take hours and there's a lot of bureaucracy that gets in the way of making actual progress. On the HR side - there was a guy I worked with who had his last name completely wrong in the system for the first few months that he worked here. Oh, and I never got a formal exit interview from HR. That kind of tells you all you need to know. I guess that's what Glassdoor is for :)

      Pros

      Offers typical consulting renumeration package to employees. Only good if you are starting your career.

      Cons

      Mediocracy rewarded and uncompetitive salaries. Plenty of arrogant and ignorant VP's to make your life miserable. Overpromising to clients. In general an unhappy environment. Avoid if you can.
