A Bridge Too Far.

Pros

Very bright analysts and some of the best, most internally consistent data in the industry.

Cons

Dysfunctional culture and weak senior management that tolerates such behavior with the brush-off, "That's Wood Mackenzie." Bonues (DPA) are based on subjective favortism, rather than merit Top 10% ("Rank 4") do VERY well on bonus at the expense of the rest of the employees. Compensation balance and work-life balance are too skewed to make corporate culture tolerable.

Pros

Not much. You can get $5000 a year towards education and can work from home 3 days a week.

Cons

Toxic leadership and PE cost cutting have driven out all the best people. The rest are just biding their time hoping for a payout. The place runs on fear, not enough resource and everyone is burnt out. There's no support for managers. HR are incompetent and just as toxic. Impossible to hire good people, even in low cost countries because we are so far behind the market in salaries. People are leaving for double the pay. No career progression. AI adoption is embarrassing. All the things that used to make it a good culture have been destroyed. They'd rather do PR stunts than actually do any real DEI or ESG work.

Not what it was

Pros

Great place to learn and get experience. We work with smart people who care about what they do. Lots of training available for those that have time to take advantage of it. Decent benefits.

Cons

Culture has gone downhill since Veritas took over. Management only care about sales and cutting costs. Low salaries, pathetic bonuses, and limited promotion opportunities, but demands keep increasing. People are burning out but they've taken away our wellbeing day forced us into into a mandatory volunteering day instead. We've lost so many great people, we cannot meet our goals when we are hemorrhaging our best staff.
