Pros

Work-life balance is solid, which is about the only pro. Wish I could say there was more to the pro, but this is about it. If you prefer simply doing data analysis, then this is your place to work.

Cons

Too embedded in old ways to really effect the change they claim to desire. The sad fact is, they claim to want to do things differently, be innovative, and so on and so forth, but they would rather not do that. Instead of letting the experts do their jobs to get the job done, they committee things to death and then take the worst possible route to get the job completed and settle for substandard practices because they wish to play it safe. Be warned - you work here, and every creative idea, new idea, new concept, or innovative play you wish to make will be stomped on or essentially destroyed.

Limited career opportunities, highly political top-down management

Pros

Excellent benefits and vacationm package

Cons

Highly political atmosphere, if you're not connected you won't move up. Very reactive, innovation comes only at a snails pace and only when forced to. Disagreeing with decisions bodes poorly, if you're happy to say yes you'll do well. Salary not in line with competitors.

Pros

Some genuinely brilliant and hardworking people still left in the business.

Cons

The business feels completely drained of energy and direction. Years of bad decision making, unrealistic growth expectations and constant pressure from private equity have created a culture of fear, cost cutting and short-term thinking. Layoffs have become so normalised that people barely react anymore. Teams are understaffed, workloads keep increasing, and experienced people continue to leave while leadership acts surprised about collapsing morale. Communication from senior management is painfully poor and usually arrives far too late, if at all. There is also a growing “us vs them” culture between leadership and employees. Staff are expected to go above and beyond despite weak pay rises, reduced support and zero meaningful recognition for strong work. The people at the top talk endlessly about culture while actively destroying it.
