Pros

Big name, they want to make the world a better place. Generally nice people.

Cons

Some not so nice people. Very under-resourced in project management/operations so new hires sink or swim. Lots of work and little support.

Great people, terrible HR

Pros

Fellow employees, mission-driven work environment

Cons

WRI's Human Resources department is awful enough to taint an otherwise great experience working at the company. They consistently gaslight employees and are defensive when given constructive feedback. HR made notable efforts to improve DEI, but appeared only to do this to distract from other serious issues, such as years of requests for pay transparency. Extremely patronizing and inefficient.
