Pros

I’ve worked on a few teams at WRI and have learned that most people’s experience at WRI is dictated by their manager and team. I’ve been lucky that everyone I’ve worked with at WRI has been extremely smart, dedicated, and gone out of their way to help junior staff. Though this isn’t everyone’s experience, senior staff I work with have made sure to elevate my work and the work of other junior staff to leadership while also providing opportunities for growth. It’s a great organization if you’re on a good team but that’s a big “if”.

Cons

Too many small projects spread across a very confusing internal structure which makes it difficult for teams to function well and finish work on schedule.
