As an institution, WRI has good culture, very smart people and does interesting, important work. As a mission-driven organization, it's fulfilling.

Cons

The organization lacks diversity in many ways and pay is incredibly low, both compared to other non-profits in the region and the multilateral organizations WRI staff tend to leave for.

Challenging to get promoted because many senior staff stay for a long time. High turn over for people in more junior positions.
