Pros

Awesome, laid-back atmosphere with smart and friendly co-workers. Great benefits and work schedule. Dedicated to the mission of saving the environment.

Cons

Like all non-profits they struggle with how to justify spending money not on the core mission. Old ways and procedures are hard to change. The 'old guard' staff who may have been effective once, are not let go when their work quality degrades.

Pros

good benefits, fun organization. you feel satisfied as you are working for a good cause to help the wildlife. you get to meet a lot of different people from a lot of different regions ranging from different ethnicities.

Cons

the pay is good but might be a little south side from the private sector. you can always use ur experience in the private sector later if you wish too. you might have to travel frequently
