They care about their employees, the boss is actually in the field not just sitting in the office.

No paid holidays and takes 6 months to start getting vacation days.

Has a safety culture. This is expected in the O&G sector and its nothing to brag about.

Cons

The company isn't growing and they are constantly restructuring. They are very slow adopters of shared services and digital. The company outsources a lot of work to India and those joining in India are treated as cheap labor. They overload staff with too much work thanks to their leaders. They are extremely poor pay masters and do not provide fair monitory recognition. If you join as in a non engineering function growth is very limited and the teams are hierarchical.

Took a great company -Jacobs purchased ECR division in 2018 downhill from poorly managed transition to rapid failure for Houston office during pandemic.
