Pros

there are many opportunities within the company, but need to be willing to relocate to move up normally. Sales is the best job there

Cons

very political, need to know how to play the corporate game to succeed. not as many chances for women as there should be.

Pros

Some very technically savvy colleagues, challenging work, a significant amount of freedom and self-direction, and some very helpful product documentation.

Cons

Employee morale is incredibly low to the point that it has caused burnout. Cutting corners means making life even more difficult for permanent employees. Further irritation comes from having to fully train new contractors every year, or else they'll have to clean up after them. The only reason turnover hasn't been much of a problem is because most of the technical workforce is nearing retirement age.
