Pros

Employees really band together to create their own positive and supportive environment Great entry level job if you're between jobs or looking for a first time job

Cons

Management is terrible No employee appreciation or consideration Terrible pay and no compensation for forced extra duties/commutes Lack of organization If systems go down, employees are forced to sit and wait all day without any actual work to do and rarely even given the option to use personal time to go home Occurrences are handed out way too frequently for ridiculous "offenses" that are out of people's control - example: someone's fiancé DIED while they were at work and they were given an occurance for leaving

Pros

Your paycheck still clears & you can still pay most of your bills. Co workers for the most part are nice. We're all in the same boat together.

Cons

Seriously clueless upper management from the now multiple CEO's on down. New services CEO actually said he had no idea why Xerox employees keep leaving. Let's see.....absolutely no salary increases at all of ANY kind in the past 7 years - not even a cost of living increase, absolutely none!. Then there's the constant layoff threats every quarter, the diminishing benefits package & then of course the millions in raises that upper management still receives yet continues to cry poor to everyone, sorry no $$ left for you guys. His solution to keeping & attracting new employees? We're going to hire more managers!! Yes that's it!! that solves everything!! A company already top heavy with management needs more managers! My advice to people falling for these new management positions - get the absolute best salary you can get because it will be the last increase you'll ever see - & get EVERYTHING in writing & watch out for the small print. Lots of promises made, very few will be kept.

Pros

The only good thing I ever saw out of this job is the people you work with can potentially be pretty outstanding. You'd almost always find someone with similar interests like you have which makes for good friendships outside the work place.

Cons

Depending on which site you work at, theres going to be a massive difference between what you are taught, and what the Operations Managers want you to do and it will get frustrating real quick. And almost no one except maybe your own supervisor will ever listen to any concerns voiced by you or your teammates.
