Pros

Perks, great insurance, relatively flexible PTO once accrued.

Cons

I eventually left because the most valuable portion of my territory was removed in a 24 hour period. We were not told of this change. After being a successful sales rep for 3 years I came to terms that I would not be able to be successful with the current state of the company and the tools that were available to me. Because of the limited opportunity, the culture on sales floor went from a "One Team" environment to a "do whatever it takes", even at the expense of the people sitting next to you. Increasing drama and paranoia among reps, even what I would equate to stealing from each other. The reasons I joined the team were no longer apparent so I made the sad decision to leave.

Thank you for your review. As you were employed by Zillow for three years, you were definitely accustomed to how quickly things can evolve on our platform, for the benefit of our customers. Although, we always strive to communicate proactively and transparently, moving fast, can have its implications. Thank you for this feedback, as we will work to improve these types of communications moving forward. Ann Sobil, Senior Director ZPA Sales

I love the transparency that Glassdoor provides to both working and interviewing at our company, but we believe this review was meant for a different company, and although we appealed to Glassdoor directly, they would not remove this review. Almost every statement made in this review is untrue: we don't have Full Stack devs in NJ, we don't have a remote work policy (we believe the best work happens while collaborating in our offices), every developer has an Apple computer (except a handful of folks who love Linux), we don't have an "offseason", people need homes year-round, and finally, we are hiring right now because we have lots of exciting work to do (join us!). To the poster of this review, if you really did work for us and would like to discuss with me directly, please don't hesitate to contact me, -Matt Daimler mattd@zillow.com

Pros

Pay and commission structor

Cons

Three month job security. Sales Floor is about tagging clients then fighting other employees for the sale.

Thank you for taking the time to post this review. I'm glad you enjoyed the commission opportunity we provide. I appreciate your feedback regarding our sales team. That feedback doesn't seem to be in-line with what I've heard from the rest of our sales floor though as we focus a lot on working together as a team. Feel free to reach out to me if there's anything else you'd like to share. Thank you again. Chris Lowe Senior Director, Premier Agent Sales
